Looking for a day full of fun with family and friends? LeBreton Flats Park is the place to be! The celebrations run from 9 a.m. to 10:15 p.m., and you won't want to miss a thing:
- Interactive Activities (9 a.m. - 7 p.m.): Dive into all-ages fun with "On the Dance Floor," Medicine Wheel bracelet making, and an outdoor screening of short films.
- Daytime Ceremony (Noon): Celebrate Canada’s rich diversity with a ceremony featuring Bedouin Soundclash, Marie-Mai, and Olympic and Paralympic athletes. The ceremony will be broadcast on CBC and Radio-Canada.
- RCAF Centennial Flypast (1 p.m.): Look up and be amazed as the Royal Canadian Air Force puts on a spectacular flypast with dozens of aircraft.
- Evening Entertainment:
- DJ Miss Shelton (7 p.m.): Get ready to dance as DJ Miss Shelton brings the beats.
- Evening Show (8 - 10 p.m.): Enjoy live performances from Canadian stars like Chromeo, Corneille, FouKi, Kanen, Kiesza, Maestro Fresh Wes, Metric, Neon Dreams, Qattuu, Sara Dufour, and Willows. Hosted by Isabelle Racicot, this show will be broadcast on CBC and Radio-Canada.
